Rooted in Family. Growing with the Community Since 1997.

Andy's Creekside Nursery began in 1997 as a small farm market in Vestavia Hills. After growing up working at his brother's farm market in Loxley, Alabama, Andy and his wife, Tricia, set out to create a place where people could find quality products, friendly service, and a connection to the community.

What started as a simple open-air market selling fresh fruits and vegetables soon grew. As customers began asking for plants, Andy expanded the business and built the garden center in 2001. Over the years, landscape services were added, and the business continued to evolve.

Like the business itself, the Burris family grew up here. Their three children spent their childhood helping weigh tomatoes, exploring the garden center, and learning the value of hard work. Today, one of those children works full-time in the family business, helping carry its legacy forward.

Recently, Andy's has expanded to include the Butterfly House, Deep Earth Rock Shop, and Deep Earth Gem Mine, creating a destination where families can shop, explore, learn, and make memories together.

For nearly three decades, our community has been at the heart of everything we do. We've watched families grow, welcomed generations of customers, and built relationships that mean far more than any sale.

Today, Andy's is more than a garden center. It's a place to discover something new, find inspiration, enjoy nature, and feel at home.
